In Texas, the Rio Grande turkey can be hunted during the fall and spring seasons. The fall season runs concurrently with whitetail season and the spring season runs from the end of March through the second weekend in May. Texas has a liberal bag limit on rio grande turkeys, and in some counties you are allowed to harvest 4 birds in a single season. By limiting the hunting pressure our birds rarely become call shy making our hunts very exciting and action packed.
With liberal bag limits and great ranches to turkey hunt our success rate is normally over 100%. Our hunts are 3 days long and allow each hunter to harvest 2 birds. Since most turkey hunters enjoy the thrill of calling in turkeys on their own, our hunts are semi-guided, but a guide can be arranged for anyone that would like to have someone calling for them for a small added daily fee.
